At the time same time of Hebrews 12 Ministries inception, running was my everything. I ran to clear my head, get out nervous energy, promote good health and strength, and also be competitive. This hobby became very pivotal in my life, right around the time scripture was becoming more prominent. So when someone asked me if I had a "life verse," I found one about running, because it's what I physically loved to do. I was completely unaware of how God would make it so much more a part of my story, and use it to catapult me into the purpose that He set out for me. As time went by, I realized the very words that I had taken so literally, "...shake off everything that hinders...and run with perseverance the race God has laid out for you..." would be the mantra of which I built my ministry. And when I came to realize the sin that the enemy tried to snare me with had no power over me, all I could think of doing was sharing that with everyone around me. You can really be free...

This ministry is more than a testimony and some personal blogs. It's daily revelation of God in our everything. It's falling in love with His Word. It's  unique personal and cultural insights, equipping you not only to be inspired, but to gain the tools to dig in for yourself and find truth.  The world around you needs His light. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let's shake off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And run with perseverance the race marked out for us...
